Chuck Harrison, industrial designer and educator was the first Black design executive to work for a major corporation, Harrison improved the quality of life of millions through the breadth and innovation of his designs for more than three decades. During his career, he has designed more than 750 products including the iconic View-Master. Harrison is the 2008 recipient of the Cooper-Hewitt National Design Award for Lifetime Achievement among numerous other awards and recognitions for his contribution to design and industry.
