Liberty Bell coloring page

Besides recognizing America's independence, the Fourth of July is a chance for family and friends to celebrate together. The helpful FreePrintable.net Web sites offer hundreds of free patriotic printables for home, school and business use. There are coloring pages, recipe cards and even stationery with a Fourth of July theme.

For kids, there are dozens of free printable coloring pages on the site FreePrintableColoringPages.net that feature flags, presidents and other USA themes. They are appropriate for teachers to use in class and would also make for an enjoyable, meaningful project at home or at a Fourth of July party. Coloring pages also make great decorations.

The coloring page designs include the Statue of Liberty, the Liberty Bell, presidents, fireworks and flags. There are also coloring pages picturing a patriotic girl or patriotic boy.

"I'm really pleased with the selection of coloring pages suitable for use around Independence Day," said Kevin Savetz, the site's creator. "They are all free to instantly download and print, so the kids can start coloring right away."

For Fourth of July-related correspondence, FreePrintableStationery.net has free printable stationery with a flag design. To display one's patriotism year-round, FreePrintableBusinessCards.net offers free patriotic business cards, which coordinates with the stationery. There is also a premium $3 version of the business card that does not include the Web site URL.

If you plan to share family recipes at Independence Day barbecues and parties, one fun option is the free firecracker-themed recipe cards at FreePrintableRecipeCards.net. The cards are free to download and print in PDF format. Or, pay $7 to download an editable .DOC version that can be saved and printed and again.

Another patriotic-themed printable is a certificate of achievement with a flag design. It's free to download and print in PDF form, and there is also a $5 .DOC option that is fully editable.

"There are so many patriotic printables to choose from, I'm confident you'll find something you can use around the July 4 holiday," Savetz said.

There are nearly 50 sites in the FreePrintable.net family of free printables sites created by Savetz Publishing, Inc., a company devoted to creating useful and informative web sites of interest to consumers and small businesses.
