The popular website FreePrintableCertificates.net has added an entire category of
awareness ribbon certificates designed to honor survivors of diseases and recognize individuals and businesses who have supported causes ranging from autism awareness to supporting deployed troops.
There are 28 certificates with colored ribbons identified with: ADHD, Alzheimer's Disease, organ donation, child abuse, diabetes, domestic violence, epilepsy, fibromyalgia, lyme disease, multiple sclerosis, spina bifida, and various forms cancer such as breast cancer, bone cancer, childhood cancer, leukemia/lymphoma, ovarian cancer and pancreatic cancer.
"These certificates are ideal for recognizing donors to causes, or simply spreading the word about diseases or conditions that don't always get the attention they deserve," said Kevin Savetz, the site's creator. "It's unfortunate that there is need for awareness ribbons, but since there is, I'm happy to provide these certificates."
There are also certificates with yellow ribbons designed to honor the service of deployed troops, or to present to businesses or anyone who has supported U.S. troops stationed overseas.
All of the printable
certificates are free in PDF format, or people can choose to download, save and print an editable .DOC version for $5 per design. This premium version can be customized with names and other details in Microsoft Word for Mac or PC.
FreePrintableCertificates.net offers more than 975 certificates for everything from school awards to business recognition. Categories include: Certificates of Appreciation, commemorative Birth Certificates, Scouting Certificates, Religious Certificates, Sports Certificates and even Joke Certificates.
"Many users prefer to frame these certificates before presenting them," Savetz said. "They are very versatile."
