I am now enroute to Bodhgaya as I write to you this week…but I wanted to take a few minutes to send this personal message and wish all my students and friends in America a Happy Thanksgiving tomorrow!
I’m sure many of you have begun to prepare your Thanksgiving feast for your celebration tomorrow. How auspicious to have your dining table simply overflowing with food. And a quick feng shui tip – it would be even better if one wall in your dining room is covered with a wall mirror to reflect and effectively double the wealth of food on your table!
I know in America this is a time of family gathering…much like our Chinese New Year celebrations. Try to plan your seating at the table so everyone is facing one of their good directions. You’ll have to know the kua numbers of everyone in order to do this…just go onto the WOFS website and you’ll find an easy kua calculator that will do it instantly for you. Just visit
http://www.wofs.com – it won’t take a minute and you’ll be doing everyone a favor!
No matter where we live or where we are traveling in the world, we all have much to be thankful for. I am very grateful and thankful for my family and friends like you and that my books and courses on feng shui have brought us together! You can be sure you will all be in my prayers in Bodhgaya.
Sending love from India

Suppressing the Strong Earth Star 2 in 2016Last week we looked at the annual feng shui chart for the coming Year of the Monkey and noted that it revealed strong earth numbers 2,5 and 8 with the dominant star being the Illness Star 2 that flies into the center of the chart.
What this means (when it is in the center of the chart) is that it can trigger epidemics, new strains of illnesses and it brings the potential of more natural disasters occurring in 2016. Ancients refer to such a year as a “Black Year” when energies have become dark and dangerous, therefore we must strongly control the potential effects of the 2 star.
Note: The 2 star is an earth star; therefore please do not strengthen it with fire energy. Remove the red carpets from the center of your home that were needed last year and the sooner you do this the better – no later than 22 December 2015. In addition, you can display the following remedies:
- Display the Garuda Image – the only celestial creature strong enough to subdue the earth nagas who are powerful spirit creatures that can cause illness and disease.
- Place your Medicine Buddha Stupa in the center – since everyone is affected by the 2 star in the center this very strong cure will help ensure the well-being of our families. The Medicine Buddha stupa channels powerful healing energies and it’s especially important for the elderly or small babies.
- For those with low life force of health luck ratings especially the 68-year-old Earth Rat and the 32-year-old Wood Rat, you need additional help since you are coping with the Yin House Star in 2016. Invite Guru Rinpoche who overcomes illness and whose name is Orgyen Menla, as he will add spiritual protection and nourish your spirit essence. Place next to the Medicine Buddha Stupa or in the NORTH.

A SPECIAL HOLIDAY FENG SHUI SECRET FROM ME!
De-clutter! Now this may seem crazy when there is so much else to get done but I promise you this works…and if you follow my advice you’ll get an amazing lift and you may be very surprised at what else happens to you as a result…
But wait…here’s the rest of the secret…
It’s about attachment …the reason we have such a hard time getting rid of things or giving them away is because we are “attached” to them – and attachment is a very negative habit and also one that’s hard to break. When we are “attached” we hang on to old things and unless we can let go of them we will forever be stuck and never escape from our past! When we are stuck, our inner chi is also “stuck” and we stagnate…in our lives, jobs and relationships.
Try these three de-cluttering suggestions now …I admit they are not easy to do. But I promise you will feel a liberation that you have never felt before … your life and relationships will improve as you begin to step out of the past and into the future! Oh and by the way…this really isn’t just a “holiday” secret but one you can and should use all through the year!
Happy Thanksgiving to those of you in America and much love to all of my students and friends everywhere…
Lillian
Grand Master Lillian Too is undoubtedly the world’s most prolific and popular writer and advocate on living with good feng shui! She has written over 100 books that have been translated into 31 different languages, and over 10 million copies of her books have been sold worldwide.
After graduating with an MBA from Harvard Business School, Lillian went on to pursue a highly successful business career in banking and finance in the 1980’s in Hong Kong. Her business acumen, drive and abundant energy soon led her from the finance world to the world of luxury department stores and boutiques where, through a leveraged buy out, she became Chairman and shareholder of The Dragon Seed Group.
All the while she was guided and taught by her feng shui masters in Hong Kong and China – and she attributes much of her monumental and quick rise to success in Hong Kong directly to them.
Lillian soon decided to retire from active corporate life and return to Malaysia to raise her beautiful daughter, Jennifer, and spend more time with her family. It was at this time she began to devote her energy to writing and furthering her study of feng shui.
She published her first book in Malaysia in 1995 that quickly became a best seller and the rest is history. Today she is Chairman of Wofs.Com, a feng shui franchise and merchandising company run by her daughter, Jennifer Too.
She trains feng shui students and future consultants at her Certified Consulting Institute in Malaysia and is much loved by her readers, associates and students for the way she teaches practical feng shui in a user-friendly way, using ordinary situations and circumstances that interest people and affect their everyday lives.
In November 2009, at the International Feng Shui Convention in Singapore, the well-deserved title of GRAND MASTER OF FENG SHUI was conferred upon Lillian Too. Immediately following this accolade, in early January 2010, she received the prestigious Brand Laureate Personality of The Year Award presented by the Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia! There seems to be no stopping her popularity and these days!
Lillian believes everyone should know her secrets and learn how to adapt feng shui to modern life… and she warmly welcomes you into her Mandala.

Every year different elements symbolize certain categories of luck. Did you know that you can harness this luck by displaying the seasonal animal groupings in the proper cardinal direction?
This year, in the winter months, the element of WATER brings excellent scholastic luck and creativity. Place images of the boar, rat and ox in the NORTH to enhance academic performance during the winter months!

During the holiday season, we all seem to be a little “nicer”, more generous and generally in a better mood. We are grateful for our blessings. Why not try being more thankful on a regular basis? On a Monday morning! Nothing will bring you greater happiness than being thankful and generous. Try it and see how much joy it brings. This is really “living with good feng shui”…with pure and honest motivation.
Love
Lillian
