Our hearts are with the families and friends who lost loved ones in the recent MH 17 tragedy. This is so very sad and it is hard to imagine such a massive loss of life – in some cases whole families were lost in this mindless event. I cannot help but think – it could have been any of us – it could have happened to you or me – our children, our families. Please continue your prayers for them and for all whose lives are affected by the violence that continues in our world.
We have just finished our two annual Spiritual Events – the first was in Singapore on 13th of July and then last Sunday 20th of July here in Kuala Lumpur. These are very special events- and those of you who had the good karma to be here with us this year know what I am talking about! We spent the morning learning how to manifest the cosmic protectors (that we all need) and then were blessed to welcome my special guest and teacher, Khenpo Delek Rinpoche who so graciously and wonderfully conducted the King Gesar Protector Puja for us in the afternoon. The puja was dedicated to those who lost their lives on MH-17 making it even more special.
For many of you this was your first such experience… and from your comments afterwards I know that many of you were deeply touched and appreciated this opportunity. That makes me very happy! As I have mentioned many times to all of you – it is so important to understand the cosmic world that we live in. The space and time dimensions of feng shui are only the tip of the iceberg…there is a much greater part of this picture, which is of course the third dimension – the spiritual dimension.

Light Up Your Love Life with Earth & Fire
Here’s an easy way to light up your love life and activate good romance luck in your home or apartment.
The elements that are most often associated with love are earth and fire…two compatible and supporting elements since fire produces earth. And even better…it is earth that is the more dominant for love so the fact that fire ignites and creates earth is really excellent.
Energizing the South and Southwest
Activate the south and southwest sectors of your home or apartment…or these same two sectors in your living room to attract more love opportunities into your life. Begin by using a reliable compass to determine the S and SW sectors of your home or a specific room and then go to work using all things red and bright lights as well.
Why Use Fire?
The fire element activates these corners in an auspicious manner and it also represents yang energy which itself creates tangible forces conducive to love. If you really want to ramp up your efforts to jump start romance then hang a cluster of fire crackers in your southwest corner. This sounds crazy maybe but it works…and by the way it’s only symbolic so you certainly don’t need to light them! If you can’t find firecrackers then use some red candles in the south or southwest to activate. You don’t need to keep them lit…or even light them for that matter…but if you do light then occasionally it will give the chi in this area a real boost.
Use Powerful Earth Energy
Along with using fire energy in the south and southwest, be sure to energize the earth energy in your southwest corner, as this is the important sector that governs the quality and quantity of the romance and marriage luck in your life. I can assure you that some of the most powerful energizers for the southwest are crystals and auspicious objects made from semi-precious stones since they originate from deep within the earth and represent its bounty.
The presence of crystals in the southwest actually energizes the chi and creates an accumulation of energy, which draws love, romance and marriage to its occupants. Note that for a crystal to affect the chi of a space it must be of fairly good size or use several. Solid crystal balls are also very effective especially when fashioned into hearts – the universal symbol of love! Be sure to place them on the table (never on the floor) and activate them with a bright light (fire energy).
Use Powerful Earth Energy in the SW
My Special Tip: Take care of your crystals and don’t let others handle them. Remember that people’s vibrations leave their particular energy imprints on crystals, and when they are negative the crystals will then begin to emit negative vibrations. If you have quarreled near them with someone in your home, then wash them in a salt solution and place in the bright sunlight for about three hours.
Of course there are many other ways to activate and energize for love…but the above suggestions are a quick and easy way by making clever use of the two elements most associated with love.

P.S. In the old days in China it was popular to hang a red lantern with a double happiness sign painted in gold to ignite romance. In fact, it was even used after marriage since it was believed to bring the additional luck of children…so why not try this as well?
The Power of HUM
HUM is a powerful message to bring to mind if you ever feel like you are in danger of if someone is trying to harm you. Just close your eyes and bring this image to mind and then imagine the light radiating outwards around you. This will instantly steady your breathing, calm your fears and keep you safe. To enhance the effect of HUM even further, recite the sound hum, hum, hum, hum hum under your breath. It will instantly blow away anything that is threatening to harm you.
Meditate and Get Divine Help By Visualizing HUM at Your Heart
Here is a 5-minute meditation to activate your inner spirituality using the symbol HUM.
As you mediate focus on the heart and chest area. Place an eight-petalled lotus there with a bright light white above it. The light radiates outward like the sun; then the syllable ?HUM? slowly appears. It is blue in colour and it is glowing with a radiance that is almost blinding in intensity. It sits on top of the lotus and it transforms the white light into the brightest blue light. As the bright blue Hum stabilizes inside your mind, you meditation will also stabilize. Stay with this meditation image for a few minutes and then imagine the blue light transforming into white light before eventually fading. This is a five minute meditation to get you used to seeing the white light, the sacred syllable HUM, the blue light and then back to the white light again seeing all this with your mind.
Practice this visualization once a day either in the early morning when you waken or at night before going to bed. With practice will come many wonderful experiences. In the beginning you are sure to get distracted, but each time the mind wanders away from the white light or the eight-petalled lotus or the HUM symbol, open your eyes and look at the image again.
You will find that this is an easy visualization and that it is very calming. In no time at all you will be able to hold the image and begin to access your own inner spirituality. You may want to make a note in your journal of your experiences if you feel this would be helpful.
