A special one-day conference for agents who market and sell Medicare Supplement insurance was announced today by the American Association for Medicare Supplement Insurance (AAMSI).  The event will take place immediately before the organization's Eighth National Medicare Supplement Summit.

"We are going to take advantage of the presence of the nation's leading Medigap experts and insurers who attend the annual industry conference," declares Jesse Slome, AAMSI's executive director.   The national conference, attended by several hundred industry leaders, will be held at the Westin at Crown Center in Kansas City, Missouri on April 25-27, 2016.

The one-day conference will take place on Monday, April 25th prior to the start of the national event.  "We have the experts, we have the industry's leading insurers and distributors present for our national event so it made logical sense to make this expertise available to insurance agents and brokers," Slome adds.

A six-hour program is being planned by AAMSI.  "There will be no cost to attend the special added program," Slome shares.  "Topics will include an exploration of the latest industry data and trends, a legislative and regulatory update as well as sessions featuring the nation's top Medicare Supplement trainers and sales professionals."
