Find local Medigap agents directory available

LOS ANGELES, CA, February 10, 2016 - With 10,000 Americans becoming eligible for Medicare every day, there is a growing demand among consumers for information about insurance options.

"More consumers are seeking information on Medicare Supplement, also known as Medigap insurance coverage," explains Jesse Slome, executive director of the American Association for Medicare Supplement Insurance (AAMSI), a national insurance trade group that shares information pertaining to the Medigap industry.  Just over 11.2 million Americans currently own a Medicare Supplement insurance policy and hundreds of thousands of consumers compare and purchase coverage every year.

To aid consumers seeking information on the various Medigap options as compared to alternative options as well as policy comparisons and costs, the organization makes available a comprehensive online directory of local Medicare Supplement agents.

"People want information and some prefer a face-to-face meeting with an insurance professional," Slome adds.  "The online directory makes it easy to find experts to connect with."   Updated for 2016, the directory covers all 50 states and new agents are added regularly.

"The agents will provide information at no cost or obligation," Slome notes.  "Our goal is to help consumers make the right decision that serves their individual needs and, of course, budget."
