Kal Goldberg, senior managing director, FTI Consulting, has moved to RLM Finsbury as a partner in its New York M&A practice.
Goldberg led FTI's bankruptcy and restructuring team in the Americas and worked deals including NASDAQ/OMX's acquisition of Thomson Reuters' MSB unit and eSpeed platform, Bombay Company's bankruptcy and First Bancorp's long-term accounting restatement.
RLM has worked AstraZeneca's takeover battle with Pfizer, Holcim's pending merger with Lafarge and Verizon's $130B Vodafone deal.
Goldberg was an investment banker at Avalon Group before moving to FTI in 2005.
