Las Vegas-based Gatski Commercial Real Estate Services named Susan Cotton Vice President of Property Management.

Prior to joining Gatski Commercial, Cotton worked for Realty Holdings Group, CB Richard Ellis and Century 21. While at Realty Holdings she held the position of commercial property manager and was responsible for day-to-day operations of more than 1.2 million square feet of office, industrial and retail space, including the 17-story Bank of America Plaza in downtown Las Vegas.

Cotton?s responsibilities grew to managing over 2.5 million square feet of office space as a senior real estate portfolio manager with CB Richard Ellis. Her responsibilities included negotiating vendor contracts, overseeing building maintenance personnel and junior management personnel, maintaining quality tenant service as well as financial reporting to the clients. Her extensive background also includes residential real estate experience with Century 21.

Lannie Neal, senior vice president of property management, said Cotton will direct Gatski Commercial?s 11 property managers in their duties and will also be responsible for overseeing the management of the company?s portfolio, which now exceeds 5.5 million square feet.

?Not only does Susan have 18 years of extensive background in commercial real estate, but she has personally managed large office buildings, as well as retail and industrial properties of 1.2 million square feet locally,? Neal said. ?Her experience in this area makes her an asset to our growing property management department.?
