Presentation to Focus on Building an Internal Change Management Capability
DENVER, CO. – (February 16, 2015) – Emergent, a boutique consulting firm specializing in business transformation and strategic change management, is pleased to announce that Jesse Jacoby, its founder and Managing Principal, will be a guest speaker on April 24 at this year's 2015 Rocky Mountain Project Management Symposium, to be held by the Project Management Institute (PMI) Mile Hi chapter at the Colorado Convention Center.
Mr. Jacoby, an expert on the topic of business transformation and strategic change management, will speak on the topic of how to design and build an internal change management capability in support of an organization's portfolio of strategic business initiatives. In doing so, he will share his insights from building capabilities at many Fortune 500 and mid-market clients.
"The discipline of change management is reasonably correct, but the capacity to implement change effectively hasn't been fully developed in organizations," states Jacoby. "Organizations that invest in an internal change management capability set themselves apart from their peers. They are able to adapt to the constantly changing business environment more easily, adopt solutions more quickly, and realize project ROI sooner. Ultimately, it gives those organizations a competitive advantage."
Jesse Jacoby is a sought-after management consultant and developer of three organizational tools: Change Accelerator, SavvyTransition, and TransformationReady. He is also the publisher of Emergent Journal and the Emergent Insights newsletter. Jesse holds an MBA from Johns Hopkins University, as well as an MS in Communications. He has contributed to a number of publications, including ProjectsAtWork, Forrester, TechTarget, Leadership & Change, N2, and others.
