It was 1979 when Sony
debuted a product that changed music and the world: the Walkman. Originally named the ?Sony Disco Jogger,? Walkman devices, which evolved to include CD players and digital media players, went on to sell hundreds of millions of devices.
But in the beginning there were just cassettes. Do you remember those? It turns out, more than a couple children today look on portable cassette players with wonder. All I can say is that they are missing out. There was nothing cooler than cranking Weezer and Nirvana as you walked to school with your player clipped to your belt.
