Weber Shandwick has added Mexico City Tourism to its travel and lifestyle practice.
The Interpublic unit will promote the destination here and in Canada, providing research, strategy, branding and social/content development.
The firm will play up the more than seven centuries of art, culture and food of Mexico's capital city in a bid to build its annual 12.5M visitor count.
Mexico City Tourism Promotion Fund is responsible for the hiring of WS, where Alice Diaz is in charge of the travel and lifestyle practice.
