Ashley Furniture HomeStore’s charity Hope to Dream and the Salvation Army partnered with the Dallas Cowboys to give over 100 under-served children the ultimate sleepover in the Cowboys’ home stadium. The kids slept on beds provided by Ashley HomeStore and spent time with players and cheerleaders. After the epic slumber party, Ashley HomeStore let every child keep the bed they slept on, and even delivered them to each child’s home. (Huffington Post)

Pat Summitt, a coaching legend, passed away this Tuesday. As the coach of the University of Tennessee Women’s Basketball team, she led her team to 8 NCAA titles, 18 Final Fours, more than 1,098 wins, and is described as a pioneer for all female athletics. Her presence on and off the court shattered female stereotypes and paved the path to success for countless female collegiate and professional athletes. (CBS Sports)
