4 Reasons To Look Under The Hood This Fall

October is Fall Car Care Month, it is the perfect time to get under the hood before winter takes effect. Here’s 4 Simple “C’s” to make your check list is simple and gets your vehicle ready for the colder weather, so you can stay on the road and off the side of it.
 

Check:

v  Lights – Headlights, taillights, turn signals, reverse lights and horn.

v  Tire Wear – not just if the no tread but also any sign of uneven wear. It may mean a suspension or alignment problem.

v  Leaks – Check under the hood and where you park your car for any signs of leaks. These should be repaired as soon as you notice them.

  • Paper towels and glass cleaner
  • Extra washer fluid
  • Work Gloves, duct tape, zip ties and basic toolsClean:

v  Clean and wax your vehicle at least once a week!

v  Windshields, back window and side windows, headlights and taillights.

v  Remove snow from the top and hood of your car.
