Life’s Journey

In your life’s journey, have you wrestled with the following thoughts:

  • You have a burning desire to make a positive difference in the lives of others and to make a bigger difference?
  • Do you often say that you will start a project or a non-profit but have not done so yet?

Too often, time and circumstances get in the way of our deepest desire to make a difference.

Perhaps, you have seen a child in need and thought to start a project to benefit children. While watching Television, you have seen the marginalized lives of people and believe that you could help by building a school or assist with medical needs. Next, you hear the devastating news of a group of boys and girls taken by Human Trafficking. Or, perhaps you hear about a young boy who goes to juvenile detention for stealing, because he is homeless and has no food.

These sad stories are a main staple in today’s news and visible all around us. They are impossible to comprehend and digest.

Why Global Impact for Positive Change

We looked at the multitude of humanitarian needs in our own backyard and around the world. The immediate urge to make a difference and a “Bigger Impact” was felt. We could not just stand idly by.  We had to do something, but we wanted to do something BIG!

Our team unanimously decided to bring together women and men considered to be humanitarian leaders. Our purpose is to collaborate, share ideas and information, so that together we may make a “Bigger Impact” for positive change in the world.

Join Us at the Global Impact Conference on August 18-19 in San Francisco.

We have selected several projects to discuss with the purpose of collaborating and expanding them in order to reach more people in one year’s time. The following list represents the longer list of projects that our members are currently working on:

  • Prison reform and reducing the rate of recidivism
  • Assisting the less fortunate in third world countries
  • Empowering the at-risk and underprivileged
  • Advocating for burn survivors
  • Stopping human trafficking and domestic violence

It is not only a privilege, duty, and honor to give back; it’s also tremendously rewarding to know that we can make a real difference in the lives others and in society. Collaboration gives us the opportunity to make a bigger impact by expanding programs and projects to help the less fortunate.

When you see less crime because children are getting an improved education, you feel encouraged that the next generation might do quite well. And when you witness those who attend college to become entrepreneurs, scientists, professionals, or innovators, you can’t help but feel good ~ especially when it was your program or project that was the one that helped to get them there.

Yes, we can do that! And, together, we can make a Bigger Impact!

At the Global Impact Conference August 18-19, we will have key experts to either help get your project started or expand your existing project. Or, you can be a part of someone else’s project by contributing your expertise, skills, and talents.

There is a role for everyone to make a difference. Whichever way you choose to participate, your attendance and involvement is vital for us to make a Bigger Impact.

We look forward to you joining us August 18-19, 2016 San Francisco, CA for the Global Impact Conference.
