Pokemon Signs

Catching and training cute creatures is captivating the world, and business owners are capitalizing on the trend with fun incentives for Pokemon players. Now, the website PrintableSigns.net offers Pokemon Go signs to instantly download and print.

"If your place of business is a Pokestop, where players can collect virtual items, you literally have a captive audience," said Kevin Savetz, creator of PrintableSigns.net. "It's a chance to engage potential customers by offering discounts, or just presenting a welcome front."

PrintableSigns.net has signs reading: "Pokestop. Welcome, Trainers"; "Catch 'Em All Inside," and "Trainers Welcome" signs offering 10% off on purchases made while "battling."

On the flip side, some property owners and non-profits are finding it necessary to urge Pokemon-hunters to be mindful of property rights, privacy and safety while hunting. PrintableSigns.net has illustrated printable signs for this situation too, including "No Gaming" signs.

The signs are free in PDF form, or $1.99 each for a DOC version that can be edited in Microsoft Word. The DOC version is ideal for those who want to customize a sign to suit their needs. (For example, a restaurant owner could increase or decrease the discount percentage offered.)

The location-based augmented reality game is played on cell phones and has been praised as a way to get people to exercise and meet friends, but it's not without controversy.

"Whether you love Pokemon Go or just wish Pikachu and his pals would go take a hike, PrintableSigns.net has the signs for you," Savetz said.

There are more than 90 sites in the FreePrintable.net family of free printables sites created by Savetz Publishing, Inc., a company devoted to creating useful and informative web sites of interest to consumers and small businesses.
