The internet faxing site FaxZero.com has released a list of the senators and congressional members most faxed via the free fax-your-representative service in 2016.
"Thanks in part to FaxZero's free fax the senate and fax congress one-click service, many people are choosing to reach out to their representatives via fax," said Kevin Savetz, who founded FaxZero in 2006. "FaxZero's mobile-friendly interface makes it easy for constituents make their opinions known."
FaxZero's most-faxed representatives in Congress through early December of 2016 were, in order:
House Speaker Paul Ryan (R, Wisconsin)
Jason Chaffetz (R, Utah)
Trey Gowdy (R, South Carolina)
Tom Emmer (R, Minnesota)
Bob Goodlatte (R, Virginia)
Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D, Florida)
Kevin McCarthy (R, California).
The senators who received the most messages via FaxZero were:
Dianne Feinstein (D, California)
Bill Nelson (D, Florida)
Charles Schumer (D, New York)
Marco Rubio (R, Florida)
Pat Toomey (R, Pennsylvania)
Kirsten Gillibrand (D, New York)
Cory Booker (D, New Jersey).

Anyone can fax the senate or fax congress for free, and once a rep is selected, his or her name and fax number are filled in automatically by FaxZero.
"As many thousands of FaxZero users know, faxing is a convenient way to communicate with congressional representatives," Savetz said. "Faxes can also be more attention-getting than an email or voicemail."
FaxZero lets users send five free faxes per day (each with a three-page maximum) to anywhere in the United States or Canada. Also, FaxZero offers a premium faxing option for $1.99 with no daily limit and up to 25 pages per fax. FaxZero is also mobile-friendly for sending faxes via smartphones. Additionally, there's an international fax option starting at $2 for sending faxes to more than 180 countries worldwide. FaxZero accepts documents in DOC, PDF, JPG and other file formats. FaxZero never reveals users' private information or fax contents.
