Anthony (Tony) Jimenez, MicroTech's President and CEO, will be recognized as the 2016 Hispanic Bridge Builder Award recipient, by the Virginia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (VAHCC).  Tony will accept this recognition for his outstanding achievements, and support of the Hispanic community at the Washington Redskins vs. Dallas Cowboys football game on Sunday, September 18th and at the Hispanic Gala on October 13th in Richmond.  Recipients of this award are those who have taken a stand, made a difference, and continue to build bridges to the benefit of all.  Tony will be recognized as an individual and business leader who has helped to shape the Virginia Hispanic Community. Past honorees include Former President of Mexico, Vicente Fox; Former Secretary of Labor, Hilda L. Solis; Six-Time Emmy Award Winner, John Quinones and Former Governor of Virginia, Senator Mark Warner.

Tony's achievements in the business community have been inspirational. Born in Virginia into a family of modest means, his drive, work ethic, love of technology, and desire to contribute to society have led to his recognition as a top leader in business, one of the most influential Hispanics in the Nation, and a respected Veteran. Now a serial entrepreneur, Tony founded MicroTech following his successful career in U.S. Military at his kitchen table and has grown the business from start-up into a multimillion dollar company.  He has been named "Entrepreneur of the Year," "Small Business Person of the Year," "Executive of the Year," and "CEO of the Year" by various national organizations. His recognitions include "50 Most Influential Virginians" by Virginia Business, "Most Influential Hispanics in the Nation" by Hispanic Business Magazine, and "Veteran of the Year" by Veterepreneur Magazine.

"I'm honored to have been selected to receive this inspirational award. It's humbling to join such a distinguished group of past honorees. As a first generation American born in Virginia I've had the privilege to establish the MicroTech family of companies to create, promote and enhance business opportunity," said Tony Jimenez.  "But more importantly, through MicroTech, we have built bridges, opened doors and created opportunities for others in our community. I want to thank those who stuck with me over the years, my family, my friends, my employees, and the Hispanic community. This award is for all of you."
