Many of my students ask me about bad and good karma. Well we all have bad karma but we also possess some great good karma too…otherwise how could we have been born into this human realm that Buddhists often refer to as the precious human rebirth?
What makes it so precious is our invisible spiritual Mind that we all possess. Think for a moment of the power of your mind – enabling you to formulate thoughts through analysis and meditation. The Mind is what breathes cosmic awareness into your body, speech, feelings and spirit and shapes your actions and attitudes. Our actions in turn create good or bad karma determining how good our rebirth in each life will be…and so the cycle continues and our mind, the source of our spirituality stays with us from lifetime to lifetime.
Spiritual feng shui, the third dimension of feng shui engages the mind and the practice does require more discipline and greater effort than the space and time dimensions. For one thing, it enables you to communicate with the spiritual beings in your own environment such as local spirits, and different kinds of spirit beings and protects you from dangerous and harmful spirits as well – so useful in this month of Hungry Ghosts! As you go much deeper in your study and practice greater insights and secrets will be revealed. Spiritual feng shu is truly the “secret ingredient” … and it is so potent that it makes your practice of total feng shui work like magic!

Don’t Miss Out on Success – Check Your Office Feng Shui
Tired of things not going your way at the office? Is your career at a standstill? Stop for a minute and take a good look at your workspace. Does it reflect the current state of your business? Are things going well or is your situation at work dismal? Is your desktop and office arrangement conducive towards your success or could it be thwarting your ambitions?
Here are five important things to consider:
1. Clutter Free!
Create a BRIGHT HALL (open area) in the microcosm of your own work area as well as at the entrance to your office. This refers to the area surrounding your main door as well as the space in front of you on your desk or work area, which should be kept clear and clutter free allowing auspicious energy to collect. Make sure that your workspace is well lit and properly ventilated.
2.  The Power Position!
Are you sitting in the POWER POSITION? This means that your desk is located in the far corner (diagonally across from the door) and you have a solid wall behind for support. You should enjoy a good view of the office and the entrance. Your chair should be high-backed with armrests and you should face one of your lucky directions. Do not sit with the door behind you. If you sit with the door behind you, you will always be caught unprepared and suffer from missed opportunities…and support will be lacking. Change your seating position so that the door is in plain view.
3. Watch For Open Shelves and Furniture Corners!
Open bookshelves constitute poison arrows. They are like blades slicing into you and can cause misfortune, sickness, quarrels and loss of money and opportunities. Move out of the direct line of fire. If you cannot relocate your bookshelf then make sure the books are flush with the edge of the shelves. Place a plant in front of the corner of a piece of furniture that may be pointed at you.
4. Lavatories are Foul!
Do not sit facing the lavatory (whether it is in front or behind or beside – above or below it will all be bad). The harmful yin energy from a toilet will bring about ill health and loss of opportunities for success…not to mention the danger it poses to your personal health and work relationships. Quickly move from this place.
5. Add Feng Shui symbols for career success!
The dragon tortoise is a “must have” for sure. This lucky creature has the body of a tortoise and the head of a dragon…thus combining the courage and determination of the dragon with the protective qualities of the tortoise. This symbol of wealth represents great prosperity especially with one or two smaller tortoises perched on it’s back! For excellent career luck place this symbol in the north or east corner of your desk or place it directly behind you on your left side for support and protection!

Transform Your Reality Now

There has been a lot written about the power of the mind, especially since the mind can bring anything into reality. It can actually manifest what it actively creates and this is often referred to as “creative visualization”. In other words, it is the act of visualizing vibrant and authentic images inside your head in a creative way and believing that these images will manifest into reality.

You have to believe in the power of your own mind, and that the mind is the spirit within oneself, the chi that connects with the cosmic universe. This connection is the source of all our power and it brings us abundance from the cosmic universe.

Perhaps this is hard for you to believe now. But if you work at making yourself accept this it will become an integral part of your belief systems. You can create magic in your life and transform your reality into one of happiness good health and prosperity. When you begin to think this way, you can escape and free your mind from negative and non-productive thinking.

Remember that your mind is your most powerful tool. It belongs to you and is waiting for you. It can create an amazingly glorious life or it can make it difficult and filled with constant disappointments.

No Weddings This Month!
During this month of Hungry Ghost spiritual rituals are focused on appeasing the dead, not the living and it is thought to be the most YIN month of the year. Therefore it’s a good idea to avoid any type of happiness occasion like a wedding since doing so will incur the jealousy and dissatisfaction of the spirits who cannot enjoy such happy times. Why not just wait a little longer and postpone your wedding to the following month?
Be strong and silent, resolved and calm. When you stand firm like a mountain, those around you will be inspired by your show of strength and your ability to be still and silent. Keep your opinions to yourself and resist the urge to always verbalize your opinion. Be a strong person of few words unless some instance or occasion requires you to act otherwise.
