No Diving sign

Forty-five new free printable signs have been added to the popular Web site PrintableSigns.net, including several pool signs just in time for the summer swim season.

PrintableSigns.net offers more than 180 signs and placards to print for free in PDF form, or users may opt for a $1.99 .DOC version that can be edited in Microsoft Word.

Besides signs for use near swimming pools and spas, the new additions include caution and danger triangles, a No Dogs Allowed sign and four new restroom signs.

The pool signs are designed for safety and to inform, and are ready to be immediately downloaded, printed and posted at commercial swimming pools (apartment complexes, co-ops, home owners' association pools, fitness centers and so on) as well as at community pools and near homeowners' pools. They print in standard 8 1/2-by-11-inch size and can be easily laminated or placed in plastic sleeves for durability.

There are pool and spa signs listing standard pool rules as well as graphics-based signs restricting diving, food and drinks, running and more. There are signs on which to list pool hours as well as signs announcing the pool or spa capacity and the need to shower before entering. Also available are signs with vital information such as basic life support, warnings of high spa temperatures and emergency personnel contact numbers.

"Many visitors to PrintableSigns.net have asked that I add pool signs to the site," said Kevin Savetz, the site's creator. "Now, there are 32 clear and easy-to-read signs designed for the pool and spa."

"It's so convenient to immediately download and print signs for your home or business, whether it's an informational sign, safety sign, traffic sign or other type of notice that needs to be posted," he added. "These signs can be used long-term, or as a vital placeholder while a metal or plastic sign is on order."

Having two versions of each sign means PrintableSigns.net users have a choice: For example, on the free PDF version of a pool hours sign, the user can write in the hours with pen, whereas on the premium .DOC version that information can be typed directly onto the sign and it can be saved on a computer for repeated use.

There are nearly 50 sites in the FreePrintable.net family of free printables sites created by Savetz Publishing, Inc., a company devoted to creating useful and informative web sites of interest to consumers and small businesses.
