HealthRock?s ?Lullabies For Kids of All Ages? CD earned a 2008 Parents? Choice Approved Award. The CD contains 17 original instrumental songs created by Doc Rock ? also known as Mache Seibel, M.D.

?The songs were originally created to help my father-in-law relax and fall asleep when he was going through chemotherapy,? says Dr. Seibel, a professor of obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. ?The 43-minute CD contains 17 original songs and is a soothing and melodic group of original instrumental compositions that help kids of all ages relax and fall asleep.?

?Sleep is essential for children?s health and growth -- and for grown ups? health and wellness,? Dr. Seibel says. ?Studies show that 37 percent of children in kindergarten through 4th grade suffer from at least one sleep-related problem. Sleep problems affect 70 million adults, according to the National Institutes of Health. This CD was produced to address these issues.?

Created in 2003, HealthRock is the trademark and ?baby? of Dr. Machelle Seibel, who was a faculty member of Harvard Medical School for almost 20 years. He combined his lifelong passion for music with health education to become a teacher of health through music and entertainment. The Lullaby CD also won an iParenting Media Award last January.
