The good news is, it is not a crime to be Stupid in America.
The bad news is, it is not a crime to be Stupid in America.
It is not a crime to be Stupid, or Thoughtless, or Shortsighted or just plain Ignorant.
But being either Stupid, or Thoughtless, or Shortsighted does break my Rules of Communication. I have 50 Rules and every one of them is designed to protect every individual's value. It is every person's job to protect his or her value. No one wakes up in the morning with the goal to protect our value. When we do something Stupid, or Thoughtless, or Shortsighted we are taking from our own bank of credibility. These extremists, in different ways, are Stupid, or Thoughtless, and Shortsighted.
So the Second Amendment extremists argue they have the right to carry a firearm to a rally where the President of the U.S. is speaking.
It is their God given right they claim, to walk around with an Uzi strapped to their chest. That is just plain Stupid. It is Stupid and Thoughtless and Shortsighted. What about the people attending the rally? Do they have the right to gather in fear for themselves or their children or friends?
The Birth-ers have this stupidity in common. Do they have nothing else to do? With all of the problems in our country, it is just plain stupid to spend your time questioning a widely circulated birth announcement or a certificate. The value that is hurt is not the President's value. The people spending their time being stupid are the ones who are not protecting their value.
You put into your bank of credibility in one-dollar bills. When you are
Stupid and Thoughtless and Shortsighted you take out of your bank in thousand dollar bills. Those who need to tote guns to a rally and those who spend their time questioning an issue not even the Supreme Court thinks is important enough to tackle, hurt the credibility of their own cause.
