Author of Rock Monster: My Life with Joe Walsh, Kristin Casey, extends her memoirist recollection of the period of her life after her relationship with the rock legend. Her new book, Casey Dancer, is the true story of one newly sober woman's attempt to launch into the complicated world of romance, sex, and intimacy. Much like her yoga practice which serves as an overarching metaphor, finding a balance between strength and flexibility is something that all women strive for.

Beginning chronologically in 2007, Kristin recalls her series of flings and her first real relationship after Joe Walsh with a man named Lalo. Their relationship is full of ups and downs, and ultimately, Kristin has to decide what her values are and whether or not the tumultuous relationship is worth it. Her experiences in dating are ultimately learning experiences and provide a rich opportunity for self-exploration. During this time, she worked as a realtor, stripper, writer, and yoga coach, and ultimately finds her value through non-traditional yet remarkably fulfilling means. 

About Kristin Casey: Kristin is a recovered alcoholic and addict who's rigorously inventoried her every resentment and relinquished ninety percent of them. She's survived clinical depression, numerous addictions, the panhandle of Texas, and seventeen years of Catholicism. Her first book, Rock Monster: My Life with Joe Walsh, documents a tumultuous six-year relationship with rock legend and Eagles guitarist Joe Walsh, their drug-fueled train-wreck breakup, and her ensuing suicidal spiral.
