I am James W. O'Clock, first time author, born in Iowa, raised in South Dakota and currently living in Maryland.  Approximately 50 years ago I began writing poems.  Recently, I updated some of them and with my illustrator son Peter, we published one of those poems, SOCOBY (State Or Condition Of Being Young).  This Christian allegory is a cautionary tale of good versus evil which takes the reader through a journey of wonder and otherworldly experiences.  The story is suited for the general public, but it is mostly written for teens and young adults.  The illustrated poem also guides the reader to realize that we all make critical choices, especially the ultimate choice.  What is that fundamental decision?  Explore SOCOBY to find the answer.  Readers' Favorite Rating: 5 Stars.
