These expertly written and formatted examples will give letter-writers a jump start when tackling the often-difficult project of framing and phrasing a letter in personal and professional situations.

The recommendation letters at both CharacterReferenceLetters.com and LettersOfRecommendation.net have dozens of samples for all kinds of situations, from job hunting to school admissions to legal situations, such as court hearings and adoption. Newly added letters include immigration and residency character references as well as recommending a renter to a property owner or manager.

The new hardship letters at LetterOfHardship.net include samples for such touchy situations as mortgage refinancing, tuition waivers, child support and more.

At ThankYouLetter.ws, the largest of the FreePrintable.net letters sites, there are 150 templates intended to help find the right words to thank someone for business services, personal favors, donations, volunteering, teaching, and much more. The new thank you letters include thanks for shower gifts, help with moving, pet sitting and event organizing.

GoodbyeLetters.net has lots of goodbye letters, ranging from light-hearted retirement and graduation farewells to sad relationship breakup notes.

"These letters can be used as-is, but they're really intended to serve as a guideline or boilerplate in helping someone write a letter to suit their situation," explained Kevin Savetz, the sites' creator. "They're all free to download in DOC version you can type into in Microsoft Word or Google Docs to customize them.
