Weekly Timesheet

Employers now have more than 80 convenient, formatted printable timesheets to choose from on the popular Web site PrintableTimeSheets.net.

The time sheet templates are ideal for small business owners as well as independent contractors or freelancers who bill their time by the hour. There are weekly timesheets, biweekly timesheets, monthly timesheets and even daily timesheets.

The new variations were added in response to user requests for very simple time sheets.

"While many of the time sheets offered at PrintableTimeSheets.net perform advanced calculations, I got feedback from site users who wanted something very simple on which to mark time worked," explained Kevin Savetz, the site's creator.

There are at least two options for each time sheet. A free version is available in .PDF format, which can be printed using Adobe Acrobat's free reader. The other choice is a $9 .XLS version (compatible with Microsoft Excel, Google Docs and similar spreadsheet programs) that can perform calculations such as for overtime or comp time. The newest, simple time sheets are additionally available in Microsoft Word format, priced at $9 per design. The .XLS and Word versions can be customized with a company name, hourly wage and other details.

There are now simple timesheets for various work periods, from a single day up to a month. The PDF versions are free, while the .XLS or Word versions are $9 per design.

Other versions of the time sheets have advanced features such as the ability to account for break times or enter multiple work periods. The premium .XLS spreadsheets calculate hours worked, along with pay, easily.

There are more than 50 sites in the FreePrintable.net family of free printables sites created by Savetz Publishing, Inc., a company devoted to creating useful and informative web sites of interest to consumers and small businesses.
