A new website is making it simpler and more affordable for teachers to reproduce top-quality worksheets, flags, maps and other forms from
blackline masters.
BlacklineMasters.net was created for classroom teachers, homeschooling parents and anyone who wants to save time, money and ink when making copies of worksheets and graphics for several students at a time.
"As teachers and other cost-cutters know, it's much cheaper to make multiple photocopies from one master than to use a computer-based printer," said Kevin Savetz, the sites' creator. "BlacklineMasters recognizes that by offering more than 60 printables especially designed to reproduce well on a copy machine."
There are world flags and maps (of the world, continents and the United States) as well as many styles of graph papers. There are also specialty blackline masters, such as a clock face, a periodic table of the elements, human body outlines, music staffs and a protractor.
"These printables are the type and quality that you would find in costly bound books traditionally marketed to teachers via school supply stores and book dealers," Savetz said. "I'm pleased that BlacklineMasters.net is providing a way to make masters available for free."
"I expect to add many more printable blackline masters in the future," he added.
Savetz is also the creator of TeachersPrintables.net, offering free
classroom printables for teachers, parents and students.
There are nearly 70 sites in the FreePrintable.net family of
free printables sites created by
Savetz Publishing, Inc., a company devoted to creating useful and informative web sites of interest to consumers and small businesses.
