He is the Vice Chairman of a UAS group , here in the US, that is responsible for generating the technical basis for UAS spectrum requirements. Mr. Lewellen is also chairman of an international group preparing for a World Radiocommunication Conference (WRC-2011) that will propose revising the international Radio Regulations governing the use of the radio-frequency spectrum.
