Sports and academics are the focus of nearly 300 new free printable
certificates recently added to the popular Web site, FreePrintableCertificates.net.
"With these new additions, there are now more than 850 certificates to instantly download and print," said Kevin Savetz, who launched the site in 2005. "The newest sports and academic certificates are a result of site user requests, as well as my attempt to offer a broad range of printable awards for everyoneís home and business needs."
The new
sports certificates include: auto racing, BMX, boxing, hang gliding, marathon, polo, rodeo, speed skating, Ultimate Frisbee and more. There are also certificates for varied martial arts, gymnastics events, track and field and other categories as well as backyard sports such as croquet and lawn bowling. All of the certificates are in full color and illustrated with images of the sports in which they honor achievement, from arm wrestling to dodge ball to water polo.
"Need a certificate for your local Competitive Eating Contest or Dragon Boat Race? We've got those, too," Savetz said.
The selection of
academic certificates has also gotten more diverse, with the addition of awards honoring achievement in: algebra, anatomy, Chinese language, driver education, glee, metal shop, spelling, student government, video production and more. There are certificates for little kids (such as Mastery of Counting to 100) all the way up to continuing education student (Personal Finance). Also just added are several new religion-based certificates for Bible school and related achievements.
There are also new certificates in the arts and crafts category, including ceramics and sewing.
FreePrintableCertificates.net also has certificates of appreciation, completion and training for business and education use, along with certificates for kids and even joke certificates. There are also certificates to commemorate marriage, birth, adoption and other life occasions.
All of the certificates are free to download and print as PDFs, which can be opened with Adobe Acrobatís free Reader, printed and written upon by hand. Another option is a premium .DOC download, which costs $5 per certificate design. The customizable .DOC file can be opened in Microsoft Word and typed into before printing.
"Once a .DOC certificate is downloaded, it can be saved, edited and printed again and again, making it an appealing option for many users,î Savetz said. ìOf course, the free versions are also very popular."
Also offered is the entire FreePrintableCertificates.net collection on two CD-ROMs for $69. (The discs work with either Windows or Mac.) With all of the more than 850 certificates included in editable form.
There are more than 60 sites in the FreePrintable.net family of free
