Lifesaving Resources (lifesaving.com) officially relocated its headquarters from Harrisville, New Hampshire to Kennebunkport, Maine, effective August 1, 2011. Its new offices are now located in the heart of Cape Porpoise, a quiet Harbor Village in Kennebunkport.
Lifesaving Resources is dedicated to drowning and aquatic injury prevention and emergency management. The company develops Aquatics Safety, Lifeguard Training, Water Rescue, Swiftwater Rescue, and Ice Rescue training curriculums and conducts this training throughout North America for the Public Safety and Rescue, as well as the Lifeguard and Aquatic Recreation Sectors.
Donna J. Dworkin serves as the company's President and Director of Educational Programs and Services, while Gerald M. Dworkin (Gerry) serves as the Technical Consultant for Aquatics Safety and Water Rescue. Gerry is a Firefighter and Emergency Medical Technician and serves on the Board of Directors for the National Drowning Prevention Alliance (www.ndpa.org). Gerry also regularly consults as a Forensics Expert in drowning and aquatic injury litigation throughout the U.S. Gerry has consulted as a subject matter expert with NBC's Today Show; CBS' Early Show; ABC's Good Morning America; MSNBC News; The Weather Channel; The Discovery Channel; The History Channel; and the Fire Emergency Training Network.
