Dr. Burton S. Schuler podiatrist,
foot care specialist, of Panama City, Panama City Beach Fl is the leading expert on the Morton's Toe and the work of Dr. Dudley J. Morton. Schuler wrote in a new article at
Footcare4u.com that in 1931 Dr. Morton went to the Belgian Congo to study the way three different tribes walk. The tribes were the Ounyabonga, Wafaleru and Wambuti.
Morton made a 13 minute film to help document his trip. The film was silent but had slides for narration.

The filmed showed Morton examining the feet of the tribes. The movie also showed the daily life of the tribes with such activities as people dancing, ladies doing their hair, people cooking, children playing, cattle grazing, roads being build, street being cleaned and porters being paid three cents a day for their job
