SUMMARY BY CHATGPT
In this episode of Screw the Commute, host Tom Antion discusses adding watermarks to YouTube videos, a key strategy in his YouTube series that began with Episode 944. Watermarks, typically a 150x150-pixel graphic in PNG, BMP, or JPEG format, can be uploaded through YouTube Studio under the "Customization" and "Branding" sections. They allow viewers to subscribe directly by clicking on the watermark, even in areas where subscribing might otherwise be less accessible.
Tom emphasizes ensuring the watermark displays throughout the entire video and reminds listeners to save their settings to avoid losing changes. He highlights that small optimizations, like watermarks, collectively enhance YouTube channel performance.
Tom also promotes resources, including a free automation e-book, his mentor program at GreatInternetMarketingTraining.com, and IMTCVA.org, a licensed internet and digital marketing school that offers practical skills without massive debt.
The next episode will focus on channel keywords to further improve YouTube channel success.

Episode 953 - Watermarks
[00:00:09] Welcome to Screw the Commute. The entrepreneurial podcast dedicated to getting you out of the car and into the money, with your host, lifelong entrepreneur and multimillionaire, Tom Antion.
[00:00:24] Hey everybody, it's Tom here with episode 953 of Screw the Commute podcast. Today, we're going to talk about watermarks for YouTube videos. This is part of my YouTube series starting at episode 944. Anytime you want to get to a back episode, you go to screwthecommute.com, slash, then the episode number. That was 944, the start of the whole series, and then hope you didn't miss episode 952. Our last episode was on feature eligibility. This is where you can just do a couple little things, and it opens up more features of YouTube for you. All right. Make sure you grab a copy of our automation e-book. It's free. Check out my mentor program at GreatInternetMarketingTraining.com.
[00:01:11] All right. How do you get to this watermark? And what's it all about? Well, a A watermark is a graphic, and for YouTube purposes, you want it to be about 150 by 150 pixels. Either PNG, BMP or jpeg format, and it's going to be uploaded to each of your videos. And if people click on it, they can subscribe. And also it shows up some places where it would be normally hard for them to subscribe. So how do you get there? Well, you go into your studio and you go to customization. Now that's the area. Well, and then you click on branding and that's the area where you put your profile picture. Hopefully you've already done that. And your channel banner hope you've already done that. But also the next one is Video Watermark. And again I told you about 150 by 150 pixels png, BMP or JPEG format and then you upload that.
[00:02:12] But then there's one more thing you need to do, and that is don't leave the check mark on the defaults of when it shows up. Make sure it shows up on the entire video. Just check that little box and that's going to help them subscribe. And also all the time when I'm having you in here with these settings through this whole series. Make sure you click publish or save, or you wasted your time and you're not doing any of these things. All right. So that's one that again these little things all add up. And in the next episode I'm going to tell you about channel keywords, which even though by themselves they don't have a big impact. All these little tips add up. And, you know, one person to me can mean a lot of money. And hopefully to you too, selling what you're doing and referring you and all this stuff. So. So there we go. Also check out my school at IMTCVA.org. It's the the only licensed dedicated internet and digital marketing school in the country, probably the world. And it would be a great legacy gift for any young people in your family or your cousins, your your grandchildren, whatever, because they'll have a usable skill in as little as six months. Some people make money before they even graduate, and they won't be saddled with massive debt for the rest of their life. So anyway, check that out at IMTCVA.org and I will catch you on the next episode. About channel keywords.
