A Special Mother's Day Message -- The Power of Making A Promise, Especially To Your Mother

Westchester, NY-based Author, Matthew Cossolotto, Fulfills Promise to Dying Mother to Finish Writing A Book, Get It Published, and Dedicate It To Her Memory

YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, NY – April 28, 2009 – Several years ago, Westchester, NY-based author, Matthew Cossolotto, made a promise to his mother – who was dying of lung cancer at the time – that he would finish writing a book he had been working on, get it published, and dedicate it to her memory.

Cossolotto has fulfilled that promise. The book he promised to complete was published by Morgan James Publishing on March 1, 2009 – which just happens to be his mother's birthday.

The self-help book –- provocatively titled The Real F Word: The 7 FAILURE Traps of Highly Disempowered People (and what to do about them) –- contains personal empowerment insights that Cossolotto says are especially critical in today's tough economic climate when peak performance is so important.

Cossolotto believes making that promise to his mother was a major motivator for him to complete the book and eventually find a publisher. "I always believed in the power of the personal change concepts in the book itself, but I credit that promise for giving me the motivation I needed to keep working on the book and ultimately getting it published," Cossolotto said. "When you make a promise to your mother, failure is not an option."

In The Real F Word, Cossolotto provides an easy-to-follow process called the Three Rs (Recognize, Reject, and Replace) for overcoming the seven disempowering FAILURE traps that hold people back from achieving their goals and reaching their potential.
