The National Association of Baby Boomer Women (NABBW), the only association devoted to addressing issues concerning the 38-million boomer women demographic, announces its first 2009 teleseminar, ?Get Smart about Digestive Health.? The teleseminar is scheduled for Wednesday, January 21, 2009 at 3:00 pm EST, and as a service to Baby Boomers everywhere, this teleseminar is open to the public. Please click HERE to register!

Carolyn O?Neil, MS, RD, a registered dietitian, award-winning food and health journalist, and co-author of, ?The Dish on Eating Healthy and Being Fabulous,? will discuss topics such as a comparison of products on the market today that tout digestive benefits, how getting adequate fluid on a daily basis is important for optimal digestive health, and how functional foods do more for your body than just provide basic nutrients. There will also be a discussion about the common misconceptions about fiber and constipation.

Dotsie Bregel, founder of the National Association of Baby Boomer Women says, ?I believe Boomer women take being healthy to a new level. We want it all; good skin, good nutrition, and a sound diet. We?re ready to take control of our overall diets and nutrition. We?re firm believers in the old addage, ?if you have your health, you have everything.? Boomers want to know as much as we can about the digestive health's role in wellness and weight control, and not only for their boomer self, but for their families as well.?

Bregel continues with, ?In this teleseminar, sponsored by Sunsweet Growers, they?ll learn what works and also the choices available to offer the most beneficial diets. Those on the call will learn about superfoods?functional foods that keep things in working order. Boomers will also learn real life nutrition solutions and be offered suggestions for a 2009 healthy living plan.?

The NABBW is excited to have Carolyn O?Neil?s guide their listeners with tips and suggestions on creating the best possible digestive health.
