Broadway Meets Joy in THE GOAL IS ALWAYS JOY at Queens Library
New York's own Queens Library presents "The Goal Is Always Joy: How to Thrive in Transitional Times", a fun and entertaining workshop interspersed with musical performances by Broadway's Lauren Elder (Hair, Side Show), Composer/Lyricist Bobby Cronin (Mary & Max, The Cover) and Dream Interpreter Jefferson Harman (Star Dreams Café, Life Unedited Radio).
The panel will discuss how to thrive in difficult times with acclaimed dream interpreter Jefferson Harman, and will perform a mix of original and cover songs relating to the topics. The workshop will revolve around the complexities of the world today and how to stay focused on the prize – joy. The goal of this workshop is to identify conflict, depression and anxiety and help to heal them by engaging community and connection. At the end of the day, all everyone wants is to be happy. Join us for this unique take on how to get there from here. A Q&A session with the audience will follow the presentation.
The event will be held on Thursday, April 12, 2018 at 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. and is presented courtesy of Culture Connection at Queens Library, 89-11 Merrick Blvd., Jamaica, NY 11432.
