Hilco Industrial and JV Partner Maynards will be conducting the public auction sale of the assets of Motors Liquidation Company Grand Rapids on Wednesday and Thursday, November 10 and 11, 2010 beginning at 10:00 AM ET each day. The auction will feature CNC vertical and horizontal machining centers, transfer press machines, fabricating equipment, massive quantities of tooling, industrial robots, cranes, kitchen equipment, and more.

Motors Liquidation Company Grand Rapids, formerly known as General Motors Grand Rapids, is a stamping plant in Western Michigan that was the American automotive giant's first facility designed exclusively as a metal fabricating operation. Built in 1936 and often referred to as Plant No. 1, General Motors Grand Rapids occupies over 2 million square feet on 92 acres. In recent years the facility was responsible for the production of tamped products on light-duty trucks and full-size SUVs.
