for the ALL NEW AuthorU.org Website and Membership

If you are a member of AuthorU.org … a past member … and/or an author who desires to be seriously successful with your publishing efforts … read on:
Lots has been happening since the first of the year with a FULL revamp of the AuthorU.org website on a new platform and membership participation.

1. AuthorU is now an inclusive author success membership—the only add on costs will be when there is a meal at an event … as in the summer BBQ for Colorado attendees or the annual Holiday party. If a non-member wants to attend an event, there is a ONE TIME only opportunity. After that, membership is required. It’s an investment of $127 per year. See #5 per your current membership.

2. Most webinars will be for paid up members only such as the Author Salons that are online and in-person … as in the summer BBQ for Colorado attendees, the annual Holiday party, and the Barnes & Noble Book Fairs.

3. A special catalog that will be emailed to all Colorado libraries and bookstores will be created for all paid up members as of July 10, 2024, who choose to participate. Your first book is FREE … any additional books will be $25 each. If there are more than four, we will create a special discount for you. Each member will have a special page that will be created for you in the catalog on the AuthorU website. Check out the sample at: https://www.authoru.org/publishing-books .

We need before July 31:
-JPG of your front cover(s)
-ISBN(s)
-Genre(s)
-Your author name
-Your publisher name
-You preferred email contact
-Where your book is distributed for bookstores (most likely Ingram).
-Shortened link for your Amazon.com and BN.com detail pages.
-Up to 100 words describing—if you have won awards, mention you are an award-winner or have enjoyed bestseller status on Amazon.

4. NEW Home page banner … note the phone # 720-767-2255 … add to your contact addresses. Also add Orders@AuthorU.org – Admin@AuthorU.org and Judith@Briles.com.

5. Status of your membership: Are you a current member? If you are, there have been hiccups with the OLD website and information became jumbled. It’s why we’ve built a new one. I need to have you personally email me at Judith@Briles.com when you joined or renewed your membership—the month and year is fine. We will auto change you to effectively on the current date to June 30, 2025. All memberships will be renewed on July 1^st

6. Next, on the HOME page of AuthorU.org, I need any author interested in being in the AuthorU community to go to the upper banner and then on the far right orange image of my book, How to Avoid Book Publishing Blunders—CLICK on it and add your name and email—you will be added to the blog list and notified of meetings. To attend them for free, you must be a paid-up member.

Already paid-up members—also click on the orange image and add your name and email into the database with membership extended to June 2025.

7. If you are an Associate member, providing services, Your investment is $197 a year. We need Your logo, website, phone, email and a description of up to 300 words of what you do/provide.

8. If you are not a member—JOIN NOW at AuthorU.org. Your investment for author and marketing success is $127 a year.
