Cleveland, OH, March 9, 2011... Timothy A. Dimoff a renowned security expert and author of Life Rage, a book that examines the rages and violence in today's world, says "Students, faculty and employees with proper training and background checks should be allowed to carry concealed weapons (CCW) on campuses that have instituted clearly written policies and procedures on the subject."

Dimoff feels that we are becoming a nation where people need to take their protection into their own hands. Gun control will become an even bigger issue as people want and need the means to defend themselves which includes the right to bear arms. Recent school, church and workplace shootings have made people feel unsafe even in places previously thought to be safe havens. Fighting back and self-defense is becoming the new norm.

"Gun Free zones don't work. Someone with intent to harm will not heed a no weapons allowed sticker" said Dimoff. "All citizens, including students, need a way to defend themselves."

Utah has already passed legislation allowing students to CCW. Texas is one of nine states currently considering campus carry and similar bills are being considered or have been proposed in Arizona, Tennessee, Michigan, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Florida, Nebraska and Mississippi. And recently a state senator from Nebraska proposed a law to allow school administrators and security personnel to carry guns in primary schools.
