The Carson City Coin Collectors of America club has launched a new Web site for its members. The address is:
http://www.carsoncitycoinclub.com Anyone can access this Web site. It provides all sorts of information about the Carson City Mint and the coins that were produced there between 1870 and 1893.
The Carson City Coin Collectors of America club was launched in May 2005 by president and founder Rusty Goe of Southgate coins in Reno, NV. Over 445 members have since sent in their applications.
The club produces an award-winning quarterly journal called
Curry's Chronicle. Articles about everything related to the Carson City Mint and its coins are featured in this journal. Subscriptions are $20 per year.
The club holds at least one meeting per year at the American Numismatic Association's World's Fair of Money Convention. This year's convention is scheduled for August 5 - 9 in Los Angeles, CA at the Los Angeles Convention Center. A special Carson City Coin Symposium will be presented, which will feature four highly regarded speakers. Regional meetings are also scheduled from time to time.
Rusty Goe is the author of two full-length books on the Carson City Mint:

James Crawford: Master of the Mint at Carson City.
