Chuck Armstrong will be Keynote Presenter at Get Your Business on CourseTM
Get Your Business on CourseTM has announced that Chuck Armstrong, President and Chief Operating Officer of the Seattle Mariners, will be the Keynote Presenter at Get Your Business on CourseTM, a unique workshop that teaches the professional woman how to use golf as a business development tool on July 27th from 1:00 to 4:30 PM at The Harbor Club in Bellevue
Chuck Armstrong is in his 26th year as President and Chief Operating Officer of the Seattle Mariners and is active in several Major League Baseball committees including serving on the board of directors of MLB Enterprises Inc, the 14 member Commissioner's Special Committee for on-Field Matters, MLB International Committee and the Commissioner's Ticketing Review Committee.
Armstrong is well aware of the value of using golf as a business tool. "Golf isn't really an exclusive club or a big secret," Armstrong claims. "The big secret is that it can be helpful to your professional career if you participate." As the Keynote Presenter, Chuck Armstrong will share his personal experiences with the women attendees of Get Your Business on CourseTM, show how top executives use golf to build business relationships and why he recommends women get involved. "The real secret of using golf to form and build business and professional relationships is," according to Chuck Armstrong, "not a secret at all."
The other workshop presenters include a quartet of women who always get their business done with style, professionalism and drive. Jen Mueller, Roots Sports reporter, Talk Sporty To Me blogger (http://talksportytome.com/) and professional talker will teach you how to foster productive conversations on the golf course that build relationships and business. Kim Crumpler, founder of Uniquely Savvy (http://www.uniquelysavvy.com/) and personal brand and style consultant will show how to develop a style to match your personal brand through appropriate golf wear and etiquette. Lori Richardson, a sales strategy consultant and founder of Score More Sales, (http://scoremoresales.com/) will demonstrate how to take advantage of tournament marketing opportunities without swinging a club. No golfing event would be complete without a Golf Pro and Mary Lou Mulflur, University of Washington's Women's Golf Coach for 28 years, will be onsite providing golfing knowledge and expert advice.
The workshop will take place at The Harbor Club in Bellevue, 777 108th Avenue NE – Suite 2500 Bellevue, WA 98004, Wednesday, July 27th, 2011 from 1:00pm to 4:30pm. A cocktail and networking reception will follow the event.
