Couscous Collective Store Launches with Skin Horse Volume 1
SAN FRANCISCO, CA September 23, 2009 – The Couscous Collective, a San Francisco Bay Area-based cartoonist collective, has launched an online store featuring comics, graphic novels, original art and merchandise featuring solo and collaborative projects from the eight-member group.

The first new title offered exclusively through the Couscous Store is Skin Horse Volume 1, by award-winning cartoonist Shaenon K. Garrity and her co-writer Jeffrey C. Wells. Skin Horse follows the staff of Project Skin Horse, a secret government organization dedicated to the protection of America's nonhuman citizens. Volume 1 collects the first year of the popular, award-winning daily online comic strip.
Several other Couscous members also have graphic novels in the works. The group plans to expand the site with online galleries and additional merchandise.
