Peter Killeen, a police psychotherapist, has a unique and extensive background in the law enforcement field. A former Port Authority Police Officer and Franciscan Friar, Peter is a renowned expert on police stress and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). He credits his expertise from his extensive exposure to trauma following his four years of work dealing with the attacks on September 11, 2001 when his depart, the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, lost 37 officers that day.

Peter Killeen holds a Master?s in Counseling Psychology, as well as a Master?s in Theology. He has been host and Executive Producer of, The Police Connection: a weekly call-n radio talk show in New York City. Killeen has also developed a 501(c) (3) not-for-profit fund to help police officers recover from trauma and lend financial support for legal expenses incurred in the line-of-duty.
