From school classrooms to office waiting rooms, coloring pages are a fun, creative way to keep kids occupied. But coloring books can get pricey, and many teachers, parents and businesses are opting to choose their favorite online coloring pages to print one at a time. With the addition of 292 new printable
coloring pages, FreePrintableColoringPages.net has surpassed 3,000 designs, all free to download and print.
Among the new coloring pages at FreePrintableColoringPages.net are hearts, birds, cats, reptiles and insects. In all, new designs have been added to 20 of the site's categories.
There are also two new categories: Bible Stories and Zodiac. The Bible stories feature images from the Old and New Testaments, while the Zodiac pages follow a Celtic theme. Additionally, the Numbers category now includes "number and thing" pictures, such as "2 Hearts" all the way up to "100 trombones."
"I have been consistently adding to FreePrintableColoringPages.net since I launched the site in 2006," said Kevin Savetz, the site's creator. "The number-and-image pages are great for helping little kids learn to count," Savetz added.
All of the coloring pages are free to download and print. They are in PNG form, which can be opened by virtually any image or photo program and then printed on a home or office printer.
FreePrintableColoringPages.net has many other design categories, including: animals, color by number, food, outer space, U.S. history and much more.
There are 65 sites in the FreePrintable.net family of
