The FreePrintable.net family of websites has launched its newest site, offering free printable copies of the U.S. Constitution and other founding documents.
"I have 100 websites with free and low-cost printables, but I believe PrintableConstitution.com is the most important, relevant site I've ever published," said Kevin Savetz, the site's creator. "Knowing and understanding what's in the Constitution and other founding documents of the republic is crucial for any resident of the United States of America."
PrintableConstitution.com makes it easier to reference the Bill of Rights, Declaration of Independence and individual Amendments at a glance. There are even large print versions as well as foldable booklets that make it easy to have the Constitution and other documents on hand.
The Constitution and other printables are the originally worded documents; in some cases archaic spelling has been updated.
"Everything at PrintableConstitution.com is drawn from official government sources," Savetz said. "The documents print in easy-to-read type and are available in plain or parchment-look formats. Just download the documents you want to reference and print them on your home, school or office printer."
Because the aim of PrintableConstitution.com is to provide easy access to the fundamental laws of the nation, the site is completely advertisement-free. "Not only are the documents free to print, but there are no ads or other distractions at the site," Savetz said.
Other designs include the Bill of Rights on a bookmark with a patriotic flag background. There are single- and multi-page versions of documents with varying font sizes.
PrintableConstitution.com is a sister site to TeachersPrintables.net, which has hundreds of classroom printables, and PrintableWorldMap.net, which has educational maps.
There are 100 sites in the FreePrintable.net family of free printables sites created by Savetz Publishing, Inc., a company devoted to creating useful and informative web sites of interest to consumers and small businesses.
