Thanks to the website PrintablePlayMoney.net, it's possible to print all the pretend money that you want, without falling afoul of the law.
"Download and print bills, coins and even play checks and credit cards," said Kevin Savetz, the site's creator. "Unlike real money, everything at PrintablePlayMoney.net is free."
The play money can replace missing board game parts, be a part of school math lessons, or just be used for playing "store" at home.
More than two dozen new printables were just added to the site, including sets of holiday bucks (Valentine's Day, Easter and winter) and illustrated "birthday bucks."
PrintablePlayMoney.net also has new printable coins that look like those from Australia, plus an Australian five dollar note. (The site has realistic play money like this along with cartoon-ish bills and coins.)
There is also a selection of classroom currency, including full-color and color-your-own bills, that can be used to reward or inspire students.
Everything at PrintablePlayMoney.net is free to download and print.
There are more than 100 sites in the FreePrintable.net family of free printables sites created by Savetz Publishing, Inc., a company devoted to creating useful and informative web sites of interest to consumers and small businesses.
