Printable Rulers

PrintableRulers.net, one of FreePrintable.net's newest sites, already has 42 new printable rulers of varying lengths and measurement types that are perfect for students, planners and hobbyists.

"These rulers are exact and easy to use," said Kevin Savetz, the site's creator. "Just make sure you print them at 100 percent so the sizing is accurate."

As the school year picks up steam, math teachers and students will enjoy the new classroom rulers. A large batch of six-inch rulers feature intervals that range from a quarter of an inch to 1/60 of an inch. They print seven to a page, meaning that there will always be rulers for kids who need one or who forgot theirs at home.

Professional architects and engineers, as well as hobbyists who are making train sets, doll houses or other projects, can use the specialty rulers that have different scales outside of the standard measurements. These include 144th-scale rulers, N-scale, rulers with filled bars, and even business-card sized rulers for keeping in wallets.

Finally, there is a new category devoted solely to layout rulers for editors, designers, and publishers. These 10-inch rulers in varying increments can be used to arrange typography and page layout.

There are now 62 printable rulersavailable at PrintableRulers.net. Each one is free to download and print as a PDF. PrintableRulers.net is the sister site of TeachersPrintables.net, which offers nearly 1,000 teacher resources for any grade.

There are more than 90 sites in the FreePrintable.net family of free printables sites created by Savetz Publishing, Inc., a company devoted to creating useful and informative web sites of interest to consumers and small businesses.
