For 10 years, the website PrintableSigns.net has offered signs to instantly download and print. Dozens of new signs have just been added.
"Like everything at PrintableSigns.net, there's a free version of each sign," said Kevin Savetz, the site's creator. "The new signs range from everyday signs to very specific placards."
New restriction signs warn against feeding wildlife, picking wildflowers and dumping waste into drainage grates.
There are several illustrated, brown-background trail signs for hiking, such as: cave exploration, trailhead, interpretive trail, potable water, "dry trail" and campsite identifiers.
A new category for airport signs has been added to PrintableSigns.net. These signs are intended for small, regional airports, or while waiting for metal or plastic signs to arrive. They could also be used for training or décor. The signs are white and blue and many have graphics and/or arrows. They direct travelers to: check-in, arrivals, departures, baggage claim, lockers, car rentals, connecting flights, customs, immigration, grand transport, information booths, parking, food, restrooms and more.
PrintableSigns.net also has new signs for banks, a full-color "Today's Fire Danger" indicator danger sign, a Sno-Park sign and a beware-of-alligators sign.
There are 4,251 signs at the site in all, including school signs, party signs, recycling signs, and many more. Everything at PrintableSigns.net is free to download and print as a PDF file. A customizable version, which can be opened and typed into using Microsoft Word, is $1.99 per design.
There are nearly 100 sites in the FreePrintable.net family of free printables sites created by Savetz Publishing, Inc., a company devoted to creating useful and informative web sites of interest to consumers and small businesses.
