Two dozen new recommendation letter templates have joined the extensive selection at LettersOfRecommendation.net.
"I launched this website twelve years ago, and it's expanded to include more than 300 sample letters, each free to download, customize and print," explained Kevin Savetz, the site's creator. "The letters complement the job-related resources at my sites InstantResumeTemplates.com and CoverLetterExamples.net, which offer free resumes and cover letters.
The new letters include job-related recommendations for: a team leader, a lecturer, a faculty member, a plumber and a contract worker. There are also a few new letters for the rare-but-awkward cases when an employee is good at their job but has some shortcomings.
Beyond employment letters, LettersOfRecommendation.net offers free templates relating to scholarships, adoption, citizenship and other matters. There are letters for people asking someone else to write a recommendation for them, or to make introductions.
Other new letters include recommendations for masters, doctorate and postdoc programs. There are also new education-related letters for student exchange, faculty and even preschool recommendations.
There are also just-added character reference letters for personal relationships as well as letters to parole boards, along with commendation and nomination letters clubs and organizations.
LettersOfRecommendation.net has several articles with tips on writing a recommendation letter and related topics.
The recommendation letters download in DOC format for editing in Microsoft Word and other compatible programs. Or, users can simply cut and paste the text directly from the site.
"These sample letters help people find the right words to vouch for someone, something that's especially important in a job market where it pays to stand out," Savetz said. "Users should pick a letter that's close to their situation as a starting point and adjust the wording as-needed."
There are more than 100 sites in the FreePrintable.net family of free printables sites created by Savetz Publishing, Inc., a company devoted to creating useful and informative web sites of interest to consumers and small businesses.
