Geeks Geezers Googlization to Host The Everywhere Workplace LiveStream with Ivanti CEO Jeff Abbott

Future of Work and HR Global Thought Leader Ira S Wolfe announced that his popular podcast Geeks Geezers Googlization will host a special edition Livestream episode on the just-released Ivanti Everywhere Workplace Report. Special guests will include Ivanti CEO Jeff Abbott and Ivanti Global VP David Shepherd. They will be joined by Wolfe's co-host, Jason Cochran.

The Ivanti Everywhere Workplace study (available at https://www.ivanti.com/report) surveyed over 6,100 office workers and IT professionals and worked with leading "future of work" experts, including Wolfe, to uncover employee sentiments related to the world of remote, hybrid and office work. 

According to Wolfe, most businesses are "getting it wrong with their future of work plans. Workers decidedly favor a hybrid workplace while managers seem to be focused on a return to normal.  In this Never-Normal world, one size will not fit all." 

Wolfe offers proof: A whopping 71% of respondents said they would prefer to work from anywhere than get a promotion and only 13% want to go back to the office permanently. In fact, 24% of respondents would quit their job if their employer enforced a full-time return to the office policy. 

Businesses need to make personalized "employee experience" a top priority. "Men and women view remote and in-person workplaces differently as do different generations," says Wolfe. To be effective, management will need to focus on the technology tools to improve simultaneously the experience and cybersecurity to protect both the organizational and employee safety, privacy, and security.

Creating an Everywhere Workplace where employees can grow and thrive is one of the biggest challenges business leaders and IT teams face today. As much of the world scrambles to acquire and retain top talent, it is increasingly clear that the Everywhere Workplace will be a crucial strategy. But hybrid work is a moving target with evolving employee and technological expectations.
