Greig Fennell to lead Kansas City enterprise risk management and business continuity consulting engagements for AMX International, Incorporated

Greig Fennell, FBCI, is a recognized leader in the development of enterprise-wide operational risk and business continuity management programs, including disaster recovery, incident management and crisis management. He has 20 years of hands-on experience in creating or enhancing management decision making frameworks to identifying, assess and prioritize company risks and in developing cost effective strategies and solutions to minimize impacts to supply chains, business operations and services. Fennell has been both a consultant to companies and has created and lead ERM and business continuity programs at two Fortune 100 companies. His diverse background includes extensive involvement in manufacturing, distribution and logistics, the apparel industry, healthcare and telecommunications. He is a results-driven executive with experience in bringing management teams and technology enablers together to develop cost-effective and risk-tolerant solutions designed to achieve positive results for companies. Fennell has received national recognition for his work, contribution and leadership within the business continuity profession and his work has been featured in numerous continuity planning magazines. During hurricane Katrina, Fennell's team created a 7 by 24 command center and base camp at the Baton Rouge, LA State Fair Grounds within 36 hours of Katrina's landfall that successfully supported 400 recovery and response technicians and other response personnel. He is a graduate of Washington and Jefferson College and a Fellow of the Business Continuity Institute.

The AMXi ERM approach minimizes cost and time to implement by leveraging the corporation's existing investment in employees, methodologies, frameworks, industry standards, policies, procedures, models and infrastructure. Training is incorporated in implementation to enhance the understanding of risks and leads to institutionalization of holistic risk management. The AMXi ERM Program facilitates the protection of Directors by providing an understanding of major risk, helping them become "actively engaged" in the independent validation of senior executive claims that is required by business judgment rules. Senior executives, managers and staff benefit from uniform, timely and accurate risk management reports and dashboards, with drill-down information. The enterprise-wide understanding and management of major risks significantly improves resiliency, agility, financial performance, growth, competitive advantage and augmentation of stakeholder value.
